Our team were called to this local leisure centre in Southsea to carry out deep cleaning to this worn vinyl flooring.

This large area of vinyl flooring had been used as a gym.  The floor was marked and scuffed, with ingrained dirt throughout the surface and a number of patches of paint.

Before cleaning……..

The floor was in a poor condition, showing wear and tear, with ingrained dirt.  Some areas had tape marks and other areas had been covered by an additional flooring surface.  Now the area was fully cleared the state of the floor was clearly visible.  The team were called in to deep clean the floor and restore it to a consistent finish.

The cleaning process…….

Working systematically as a team our operatives initially swept the floor to remove any loose debris. They then worked over the floor removing high spots, chewing gum and tape.  To commence the deep cleaning process the team applied a chemical stripping product.  This professional floor stripping product works hard to remove layers of old polish and dirt build-up.  The team then used a mechanical scrubbing machine to deep clean the surface.   The mechanical scrubbing machine thoroughly scrubs all areas of the surface lifting dirt and old polish.  Any soiled water left over from the process was then removed with a wet vacuum.  The team then neutralized the floor and rinsed with fresh water.

The surface was then allowed to dry naturally before 2 coats of specialist floor sealer was applied and then 2 coats of polish.  The floor sealer will ensure that the floor stays looking this good for longer and help protect the vinyl surface of the floor.

The finished, carefully cleaned floor looks amazing with a great shine.

Tile and grout cleaning to the changing areas…..

The team also cleaned throughout the tiled changing areas, the team removed scale deposits, carefully cleaned the tiles and grout revealing a great shine throughout and spotless clean.
