Contract cleaning

Our team of 3 contract cleaners carry out the day to day cleaning throughout the Spinnaker Tower and Waterfront Café area.  Our team carefully clean, paying particular attention to cleaning all of the touchpoints with antiviral disinfectant.  With good attention to detail our team ensure that members of the public can visit the Spinnaker Tower with confidence.  Our team of cleaners are managed by our Contracts Manager Gillian Pugsley who visits on a regular basis, carrying out site audits – fully inspecting the site with our customer to discuss the quality of the cleaning, additional tasks to be carried out and areas to improve.  This regular communication and good working relationship means that we can adapt quickly to the customers changing needs.  With the Covid-19 outbreak our team receive specific infection control training to ensure that we are meeting the standards required.

Deep cleaning

Alongside our contract cleaning role at the Spinnaker Tower our deep clean team are involved in the specialist tasks that are required to ensure that the very highest of standards are maintained.  On this occasion our team attended to carry out a strip and re-polish of the floors.  This task is carried out periodically to ensure that all the old polish and ingrained dirt is removed.  Our team use a combination of professional cleaning agents and a mechanical scrubbing machine to deeply clean the floor surface.  Only once all old polish, dirt and marks are removed then multiple coats of floor seal and polish and are applied.  This multi-step professional cleaning process ensures the fantastic shine as seen in the photos.  A regular program of floor maintenance prolongs the life of the floor, makes it easier to keep clean on a daily basis and ensures it has a high gloss finish, which looks stunning.
